Meta-Learning is an assessment service for secondary school students, tertiary students and adults with specific learning disabilities (SLDs), such as dyslexia and dyspraxia. Meta-Learning also provides consultations to schools and tertiary institutions.
Metacognition refers to the knowledge of one’s own thought processes. Being aware of how you process information helps you to understand how you learn best. ‘Meta-Learning’ essentially means ‘learning about learning’. An assessment from Meta-Learning will identify your learning strengths and provide you with practical strategies to assist you in achieving your academic goals.
Educational assessments will identify dyslexia and other learning difficulties, such as dyspraxic-type or attention control difficulties. A comprehensive assessment of cognitive abilities and literacy attainments is carried out. Reports are written in a clear and user-friendly style and contain recommendations for special assessment conditions (where applicable), educational support and study skills strategies that are tailored to the individual.
